Volunteer craftsmen wanted for building of royal pyre | Bangkok Post: news


A worker helps lower building materials to be used to build accommodation for Office of Traditional Arts workers assigned to build the royal pyre for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s cremation at Sanam Luang, on Jan 17. Mr Sahabhum said people who wish to apply must be appropriately experienced, expert craftsmen in the field of traditional arts. They can apply in person at the general administration building of the Office of Traditional Arts on Phutthamonthon Sai 5 in tambon Salaya of Phutthamonthon district, Nakhon Pathom province, or by mail. The Office of Traditional Arts will announce the names of those who qualify on Feb 24 on the same website. Those qualified will undergo an interview and a test of craftsmanship on Feb 27.
